Hushed Valley (2025) is a soft metallic watercolour landscape, washed in quiet greens and subtle light. The painting holds a sense of inward stillness, where forms dissolve and space opens for reflection. It speaks to the power of retreating gently within, of simplifying the outer world so creativity and inner knowing can emerge naturally. In this quiet place, the mind softens, the spirit settles, and the deeper layers of the self are revealed.

Sanctuary of Calm (2025) is a four-piece watercolour series painted with metallic watercolours on high-quality watercolour paper. The soft, understated landscapes feature gentle greens, fields, pathways, distant mountains, and subtle horizons, with two works illuminated by warm orange-red tones. The metallic shimmer adds a quiet luminosity, enhancing the serene and meditative quality of each piece.

This series is a celebration of simplicity, stillness, and presence. Sanctuary of Calm invites viewers to pause and reconnect with their inner world, offering a gentle space for reflection, creativity, and spiritual contemplation. All prints will be provided with a Certificate of Authenticity with artist, Michelle Ward's signature, original date created, size, original materials, and edition print number. All of our canvas prints come ready to hang and are printed with Epson’s latest 12 ink technology at 2440 dpi (HD Quality). Our printer uses premium quality framers tape and wire when finishing the back of all of our canvas prints. All prints are coated with a satin fade-resistant coating and are fade resistant for 200+ years.
