Citrus in Violet (2012) is a vibrant watercolour still life set against a rich purple ground, where bottles, fruit, and orange flowers come together in luminous contrast. The warmth of citrus tones and petals rises gently from the depth of violet, creating a dynamic balance between energy and stillness. Light moves through glass and surface, allowing colour to pulse and breathe within the composition.
