Glass and Light (2025) is a metallic watercolour still life featuring grapes resting in a bowl, and spoons standing in glass. Soft shadows stretch across the surface and wall, capturing the delicate interplay of reflection, transparency, and form. The metallic shimmer adds a subtle luminosity, bringing movement and life to a quiet, contemplative scene.
Within the stillness of the composition, colour, light, and shadow interact in gentle rhythm. The work celebrates the understated elegance of everyday objects, showing how presence, observation, and a moment of pause can transform the ordinary into something luminous and full of quiet energy.
Reflections of Time (2025) is a collection of four still life paintings created in watercolour and metallic mediums, capturing fleeting moments where light, shadow, and reflection gently converge. Each work feels like a quiet pause in time, a snippet of the everyday transformed through glass, surface, and colour. Subtle reflections and shifting light create a sense of presence, inviting the viewer to linger within the moment.
