“Blaze of the Ocean”  (2013)

An original acrylic on canvas capturing a vibrant orange and red turtle emerging powerfully from the cobalt-blue depths of the ocean.

The original painting was created in the Artist Quarters athe the Riverea Boat Show in 2013. i worked alongside about 20 other artists over a two day period and at the end of that time they had an art auction fundraising event. 

Radiating masculine energy, the turtle embodies strength, courage, and guardianship, symbolising the protective force that honours and safeguards the feminine. The fiery hues of the shell contrast with the deep, serene blues of the sea, reflecting the balance between vitality and calm, action and reflection. This work carries deep symbolic meaning, celebrating the turtle as a timeless totem of resilience, guidance, and the harmonious interplay of masculine energy supporting, nurturing, and standing as a steadfast protector of life’s sacred currents.

"Journey of the Gentle Warrior" Series (2019)

A collection of water colour and acrylic paintings created in 2019 during my artist residency in the Maldives, inspired by the peaceful world I experienced while diving and snorkeling among these ancient ocean guardians. Each piece captures the turtle’s gentle grace, steady rhythm, and deep spiritual presence. In many traditions, the turtle is a powerful totem symbolising wisdom, protection, patience, long life, and the quiet strength needed to move through life with purpose. Through this series, I honour the turtle as a spiritual guide - a reminder to slow down, breathe, trust the journey, and stay grounded while navigating the ever-changing tides of life.

Limited Edition of 50 Prints for each material and size option. All prints will be provided with a Certificate of Authenticity including artist signature, original date create, size, materials and edition print number. 

All of our canvas prints come read to hang and are printed with Epson's latest 12 ink technology at 2440dpi (HD Quality). Our printer uses premium quality framer's tape and wire when finishing the back of all our canvas prints. All canvas prints are coated with a satin fade-resistant coating and are fade resistant for 200+ years.
