The" Maldives Series" by Michelle Ward is a breathtaking collection born from a transformative three-month residency on Kihavah Island, Baa Atoll, Maldives. Immersed in the natural splendour of this tropical paradise, Michelle had the unique opportunity to work within the Resort Gallery, share her artistic vision through workshops with guests and staff, and explore the mesmerising underwater world.  

Drawing inspiration from countless hours diving, snorkelling, and filming the vibrant marine life, this series captures the essence of the Maldives' pristine ocean landscapes. Each piece reflects the profound healing and beauty of the turquoise waters, colourful reefs, and serene island vistas, celebrating the connection between art, nature, and the human spirit.
